Arsen Samvelian – Credit Furnishing Compliance Expert Since 2006

In 2006, after filing his 2005 taxes, Arsen Samvelian was informed by his CPA that the IRS had record of employment fraudulently reported under his name. After several conversations with an IRS representative, he was advised to file a police report and review his credit reports to determine whether the identity theft had also affected his financial records.

Correcting the IRS issue was straightforward. The credit reports, however, told a much different story. Arsen discovered 20 charge-offs and collections, multiple fraudulent addresses, two fake business accounts, and more than 50 unauthorized inquiries—most occurring within an 18-month span.

Months of back-and-forth with the credit bureaus revealed a deeper problem: the creditors themselves were causing the resistance. Despite the police report, many furnishers refused to remove the fraudulent information, making the dispute process far more difficult than expected.

Study

Determined to fix the situation, Arsen began studying the laws governing credit furnishing. He focused on personal finance, consumer credit statutes, and dispute-resolution strategies. He learned how to read and interpret reports from all three major bureaus—Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion—identify inaccuracies, and understand how various factors influence credit scores. He also developed a deep understanding of the laws critical to credit compliance, including:

• Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) - Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) - Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) - Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)

Within two months, he successfully resolved every issue on his credit reports—an experience that set the foundation for his career as a Credit Furnishing Compliance Expert. Today, he uses that expertise to power a highly successful credit repair software system that automates compliant disputes and simplifies the entire restoration process for consumers.
